Regarding my last post, I have now found my great-uncle, Charles Frederick Fisher in the Des Moines County Biographical Review which I was able to download from Ancestry. I did see his name on this site in the listing for the above but didn't realise it was him.

His birth name was Charles Frederick Pfisterer but in the States he became known as "Fisher".

The last I have on him is in the 1910 Census and in the 1915 Burlington Census his wife, Mary, states she is a widow.

Still hoping someone can give me some details as to his death, at which graveyard, etc.
