SHUMATE, VAN AUSDALL, GAUGH

Looking for the burial site of Daniel SHUMATE, born Abt. July 1806 in VA, died prior to 1855, and Jane Van Ausdall SHUMATE, born Abt. May 1813, later married to William GAUGH in Shelby Co, IA , died aft. 1889. Suspicion that Daniel and Jane are buried in Des Moines County, perhaps Shiloh Cemetery where Daniel's son, William H. SHUMATE is buried, but didn't notice Daniel or Jane during my visit to Shiloh Cemetery in about 1996. Daniel and Jane and family were living in Union Twp in 1850.
