Mary Carmine b abt. 1836 in KY, d/o Allen & Lydia Carmine [1856 State Census, Benton Twp, Des Moines Co, Iowa]

Isaac Rowcroft b 31 May 1834 Cheshire Co, Eng, s/o Mark & Isabella Rowcroft [1856 State Census, Washington Twp, Des Moines Co, Iowa; 1860 KS, Lykins/Miami, Mound Twp; 1865 KS, Miami, Paola]

Did they marry?

Mary Rowcroft, widow of Isaac Rowcroft, m. 13 Jun 1867 Miami Co, KS: Samuel Smith (11 Mar 1830 Stockport, Cheshire, Eng; 16 May 1900 Osawatomie, Miami, KS). [A family note says Mary's maiden name was Carman.]

Their dau. Laurella Elizabeth Smith m. Albert J. Walthall (Osawatomie KS), & were my grandparents.
