Doris M. Poggemiller, 87, formerly of 831 Linden Street, Burlington, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, December 25, 1993, at Bethesda Care Center, Mediapolis.

Born August 17, 1906, in Burlington, she was the daughter of John and Eunice Pierson Theesfeld. She was retired from Midwest Biscuit Company, and was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church, and the Eagles and Moose Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, John Poggemiller and Robert Poggemiller, both of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Arlene Estle of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Senn of Mequon, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. Poggemiller will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Prugh's Chapel with the Reverend Gregg Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Oak Street Baptist Church.
