74 Great, Great-Great and Grandchildren Survive - Rites Saturday

Mrs. Louise Schroeder, 91, of 915 North Eighth street, resident of Burlington 86 years, died at her home late yesterday.

Among survivors are 27 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; 74 in all.

She was born in Germany Nov. 28, 1843, and would have been 92 the 28th of this month. Leaving her native land, she came directly to Burlington where she was married May 11, 1861 to William Schroeder. He died in 1904. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of the First Evangelical church.

Surviving besides the grandchildren are seven children: Mrs. Anna Reineke, Mrs. William Wusso and Mrs. Clara Mehmken, Burlington; Mrs. Christ Wallentine and C. W. Schroeder of Danville, Ia.; Mrs. A. J. Knehans, Bonaparte, Ia., and Fred Schroeder of Cottage Grove, Ore. Three children preceded her in death: Mrs. Lena Hendrickson, Mrs. Theodore Wagner, and Will Schroeder. She was the last of her family.

Services will be held at First Evangelical church at 2 p.m., Saturday, following brief services at the residence at 1:30. Dr. J. H. Buescher, pastor of the church, will officiate. The body will be at Prugh's chapel until Saturday morning. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
