W. H. Hughes, who has been in Cresco on several occasions as instructor in the Masonic lodge, passed away on Saturday at his home in Burlington, Iowa, from consumption He was a chief clerk in the railway mail service. The funeral was held on Monday at Grinnell. The deceased was a nephew of B. F. Davis.
