Richard F. Siefken, 74, of 1221 Caroline Street, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born October 6, 1917, in Dodgeville, he was the son of Chester and Helen Vorwerk Siefken. He married Margaret Bernhart October 19, 1938, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Dodgeville.

He operated Siefken Sinclair Service Station for 30 years. He was also a farmer and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia (Robert) O'Grady, Concord, North Carolina; five brothers, Wilfred Siefken, Chester Siefken, Verdon Siefken, and Ralph Siefken, all of Burlington, and LeRoy Siefken, rural Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Walljasper, Yarmouth, and Delores Short, Yakima, Washington; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call as they desire after 3 p.m. Thursday with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. followed by family visitation at Lunning Chapel.

The funeral for Mr. Siefken will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Catholic Church with the Reverend Carl Leveling officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dodgeville.

Memorials have been established for St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Home Health Care of Burlington Medical Center.
