William "Bill" Daniel Roach, 66, of St. Patrick, Missouri, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at his home, following a battle with cancer.
A funeral is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, Missouri, with the Rev. Jim Campbell officiating. Burial, with military rites, will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
Friends can call today at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Roach was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Burlington, the son of Cecil and Marie Schiedeman Roach. He married Rexann Yarolem Dec. 31, 1998, in Gorin, Missouri.
Mr. Roach was a 1965 graduate of Fairfield High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1966, where he received two Purple Hearts and other medals while serving in Vietnam.
He and his wife raised their family in the Memphis, Missouri, area and moved to St. Patrick, Missouri, to be near their grandchildren.
He was self-employed and a livestock farmer and enjoyed showing livestock with the kids at county and state fairs. He was a former Iowa FFA state president.
He was a member of the Kahoka Christian Church, the Southside Boat Club in Keokuk, and former member of the American Legion in Gorin.
He loved to play pool, water race dogs and was a Cubs fan Being "Grandpa" was his favorite title.
Survivors include: his wife, Rexann, of St. Patrick, Missouri; four children, William Cecil Roach and wife Molly of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Janna Cline and husband Roy of Kahoka, Missouri, Daniel Roach and wife Brittany of St. Patrick, Missouri, and Dustin Roach and Jessica Johnson of Cedar Rapids; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
