Mrs. Abulia Springsteen Pierce, 37, Buffalo, Ia., died Sunday in Mercy Hospital.

She was born in Burlington May 7, 1910, and with the exception of the last 6 years in Buffalo she spent all her life here. She married Dale Rogers in 1934 and he died 2 years later. She remarried, this time to Frank Pierce, and went to live in Buffalo.

A member of the First Christian church of Burlington, she is survived by her husband, 2 daughters, Florence and Phyllis, at home; 2 sisters, Mrs. Adelia Wood and Mrs. Myrtle Andre, both of Burlington; 6 brother, George, Minneapolis, Clyde and John, Burlington, Cecil and Clifford, Davenport, Bert, Peoria.

Services will be held at the Burnett Wallen funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
