Mrs. Gingrich, Danville, Dies
Mrs. Ada Louisa Gingrich, rural route 3, Danville, died at Burlington hospital Saturday evening at 5:30 o'clock. She was admitted to the hospital six weeks ago.
She was born in Hancock county, Illinois, Aug. 9, 1895, the daughter of A.P. and Martha Conn Fletcher. On May 22, 1917, she married John Gingrich at Ft. Madison.
She was a member of Middletown Presbyterian, the Ladies Aid of the church, Paul Caster Rebekah lodge, the past nobel grand circle, Daughter of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and of the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Martha May Gingrich, and one son, John Abner Gingrich, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Milo Burtch of Danville, Mrs. Alice Burtch of Ottumwa and Mrs. Julius Cline of Richland, Ia. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Ed Byrd of the Middletown Presbyterian church will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
