Russell Walker, 94, of 1323 Iowa, died Saturday, July 23, in Rochester, Minnesota.

He was born June 5, 1889, in Des Moines County, to John and Louisa Burkholder Walker. He married the late Emma M. Scheihing September 24, 1919, in Burlington.

Mr. Walker was a retired employee of Haller's. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Surviving: Son Ronald (Chick), Burlington; daughter Marjorie Schnedler, Buffalo City, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sheagrcn Funeral Home, the Reverend Dale A. Hempen; Memorial Park Cemetery.
