Noah Trimble, 68, Route 3, died at 12:46 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born May 16, 1915, in Des Moines County, to Noah and Katherine Thompson Trimble.

He married Mildred Alexander on June 1, 1945, in Des Moines County; she is dead.

Mr. Trimble was a farmer and a member of First Christian Church.

Surviving: Son, Sam, Route 3; two grandchildren; brother, Wilbur, Route 3, and sister, Mrs. Wilma Loper, Sperry.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Lunning Chapel, the Reverend David Seitz; North Walker Cemetery. A memorial for the American Diabetes Association has been established.
