Alice D. Anderson, 96, of rural Sperry, died Thursday night, November 19, 1992, at Bethesda Care Center, Mediapolis.

Born October 4, 1896, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Fred and Anna Riemann Wunnenberg. On January 23, 1919, she married Roy Anderson. He died May 11, 1989.

She was a homemaker and confirmed into Latty Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Orville Anderson of Sperry; a grandson, Garry Anderson of Mediapolis; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Wunnenberg and Ralph Wunnenberg, both of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be Sunday, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Mediapolis.

The funeral for Mrs. Anderson will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hagele and Honts, with the Reverend Lexie Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Des Moines Health Center.
