Mrs. Marcille “Marcy” M. Walker, 88, of Flagler Beach, Florida and formerly of Sperry, died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Prairie Ridge Care and Rehab Center in Mediapolis.

Born October 30, 1926, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Harry Chris and Stella Mae (Ruschill) Lucas. She was previously married to Lawrence Walter Krieger. On October 18, 1974, she married Warren Walker. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1998.

Marcy worked at Sylvania and Champion Spark Plug for 26 years. She also helped on the farm. She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, especially with her sisters, sisters-in-law and friends. She also enjoyed watching sports on TV, fishing, walking, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Sharon) Krieger of Mediapolis and Don Krieger of Ottumwa; one daughter, Ellen (Dean) Campbell of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Cindy Edle, Scott Krieger, Matthew Krieger and Mitchell Krieger, three great grandchildren, Jordan Krieger, Ethan Krieger and Isabella Krieger; two sisters, Shirley (Lester) Granaman and Erma Baker, both of Sperry; and one brother, Allan (Betty) Lucas of Crawfordsville.

“Sis” was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Lawrence and Warren; one sister, Hazel Hightower; four brothers, Wilbur Lucas, Lloyd Lucas, Russell Lucas and Marvin Lucas; and one son, Robert in infancy.

There will be no visitation or service at this time. Inurnment will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established for Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

According to Marcy’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
