Mason Dayne Hall, 68, of Burlington, died at 4:05 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2003, at Burlington Care Center.

Born June 17, 1934 in Macomb, Ill., he was the son of Harley Eugene and Aurora Dell Mason. On November 3, 1963 he married Cecilia Catherine Leighty in Macomb, Ill. They later divorced.

Mr. Hall was a roofer and laborer in Macomb. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles.

Survivors include two sons, David Eugene Hall and Thomas Dayne Hall, both of Burlington; one daughter, Lisa Diane Hall of Burlington; six grandchhildren; one brother, Arthur Hall; two sisters, Barbara Rohn of Burlington and Janice Cole of Yreka, Calif., his former wife, Cecilia Heckethorn, and two aunts.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel. The body has been cremated. A private family burial for Mr. Hall will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb at a later date.

A memorial has been established.
