Born June 5, 1928, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of William Jennings and Maude Lillian Adams Marshall.
Miss Marshall worked at Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg for 10 years, Elks Lodge in Galesburg for two years and then owned and operated the Green Acres Restaurant in Wataga, Ill.
She was a 1945 graduate of Burlington High School. She was a member of Methodist Episcopal Church in West Burlington and attended the Salvation Army services in Galesburg.
Survivors include one brother, James W. Marshall Sr. of Wataga; one sister, Maude Ebert of Galesburg; and several nieces and nephews, many of who cared for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel in Galesburg.
The funeral for Miss Marshall will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, with the Rev. Milton Marquith officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Knox County Nursing Home and Knox County Humane Society.
