Sperry (IA) -- Mr. Ira David Marshall, 91, of Sperry, died Friday (December 27, 1963) at 3:30 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Granaman, at Sperry.

He was born October 25, 1871, in Des Moines county, the son of Oliver and Elvena Clark Marshall. In 1894 he married Abbie Blanche Larkin. She died in 1947.

Surviving are: three sons, Burton E., Mt. Pleasant, Ralph W. and Walter S., both of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Burgus and Mrs. Hazel Granaman; both of Sperry; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hutchcroft, Winterset, and Mrs. Mae Gesling, Mediapolis; 25 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Two sons, four brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren died earlier.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Fry Chapel, Mediapolis, Reverend Eldon Haworth officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.
