Willis Henry Johnson, 82, of New London, died Thursday, August 2, 2001, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.

He was born July 30, 1919, in Iowa.

Mr. Johnson was a retired truck driver who spent part of each year in Mission, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Mission; and three daughters, Karen Shivers of Des Moines, Kathy Chubbic of Ankeny and Carol Neville of North Carolina.

The body of Mr. Johnson has been cremated. T
