Dwight A. Horn, 67, of 15348 U.S. 34, West Burlington, died Monday, January 8, 1996, at his winter home in Alamo, Texas.

Born February 13, 1928, at Yarmouth, he was the son of Everett and Orva Featherby Horn. He married Nona Diane Stigge May 29, 1948, at Mount Pleasant.

He was a 1948 (sic: 1946) graduate of Yarmouth High School and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Middletown and the N.R.A.

Mr. Horn was an antique dealer, owning Horn's Antiques, rural West Burlington. He was avid antique collector, loved playing pool and cards and traveling.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sally Parrott and Alice DeVore, both of Danville, Shirley Van Osdol of Rapid City, South Dakota; one son, Ted Horn of West Burlington; 11 grandchildren; his mother of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Helen Bauman of West Burlington and Mona Quiroga of Lancaster, California; and two brothers, Earl Horn of New London, and Lyle Horn of Mount Union.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday, with the family present from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Middletown Presbyterian Church.

The funeral for Mr. Horn will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Middletown Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Bob Ludrick officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery in West Burlington.

A memorial has been established.

Fry Funeral Home in Tipton is in charge of arrangements.
