Funeral services were held Monday afternoon (September 10, 1962) in Wapello for Mrs. Claud Miller, 77, who died Friday, September 7 at her home north of Morning Sun. Officiating at memorial services were Reverend Harlan Grant and Reverend Mr. Rusenhaven. Burial was in the Kossuth cemetery.

Pim Elizah Harris was the daughter of Newton and Ella Thomas Harris and was born at Wapello on January 1, 1885. She married Claud D. Miller in Muscatine on January 10, 1904. They farmed in the Mediapolis community before moving to their farm home north of Morning Sun many years ago.

Surviving are the husband and three daughters: Mrs. Clifford Lundeen, Mediapolis; Mrs. Everett Poggemiller, New London; and Mrs. Frank Springsteen, Wapello. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Forrest and Ellis Harris, both of Wapello; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Winter of Davenport.
