Mrs. Anna G. Brust, 97, 2824 Londonderry Court, Galesburg, Illinois, died in Applegate Care Center, Galesburg, at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 27 (1985).

She was born February 11, 1888, at Biggsville, Illinois, to Evan and Mary Boyles Thomas. She married Arthur Goempler June 1, 1911; he died in April of 1913, and she married John W. Brust December 20, 1920, in Galesburg; he died August 22, 1935.

Mrs. Brust graduated from Teachers College, Normal, Illinois, and Iowa Wesleyan College, Mt. Pleasant. She taught in Burlington and West Burlington for many years.

Surviving: Three daughters, Loraine Danielson, San Diego, California, Marian Sheldon, Moline, Illinois, and Bette Pepmeyer, Galesburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are pending at the Lunning Chapel, where a memorial to Faith Church has been established.
