Ernest A. Kneedy, 71, Wever rural, died at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born March 15, 1908, at Kingston, the son of Andrew and Anna Dravis Kneedy. He married Marguerite Mary Clavin April 15, 1929, at Burlington; she died February 2, 1961. He was retired and a former partner in K&U Auto Repair Service.

Surviving: Two sons, James, Carman, Illinois, rural, Charles, Macomb, Illinois; daughter, Mrs. John (Marianne) Gasser, Davenport; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Jessie) Wirt, Burlington, Mrs. Dorothy Brockway, Mediapolis, and Mrs. Ella Miller, Kingston.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Prugh's chapel, Father Donald Redmond; Memorial Park cemetery. Rosary, 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's.
