Almira "Ella" Pearl Miller, 83, of 226 South Harrison Street, Mediapolis, died Monday, March 10, at her home.

She was born in Des Moines County December 22, 1902, to Andrew and Anna Drabis Kneedey (sic). She married Walter Harrison Miller December 21, 1920; he died in 1959.

She was a homemaker, and was a member of the United Methodist Church at Kingston, where she lived until moving to Mediapolis five years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Marlane and Arthur, both of Burlington; a daughter, Maxine Louck, Burlington; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Brockway, Mediapolis.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fry Funeral Chapel in Mediapolis, with the Reverend Harold Werley officiating. Burial will be in Dolbee Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Kingston United Methodist Church.
