Edward Nelson Moyers died January 4 at his home in Benton township.

The son of George W. and Rebecca Ellen Moyers, he was born at Newport on March 16, 1887, and was married to Ruth A. Youngberg on January 21, 1920.

She survives, as do 6 children, all of route 2, Burlington: Mrs. Caroline Bailey, Ethel, Doyle, Lloyd, Mab[el], and Elizabeth Ann Moyers.

Also surviving are 2 sisters, and 3 brothers, Mrs. Mary L. Dotson, Burlington, and Mrs. Cora Hamilton, Morning Sun, and P. A. Moyers, Morning Sun; B. J. Moyers, Wapello, and H. R. Moyers, or Elk River, Minnesota.

Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fry funeral home in Mediapolis. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.
