Irene M. McLin, 85, of West Milan, Illinois, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Trinity West Hospital in Rock Island, Illinois.

Born March 6, 1918, in Livingston County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Charles and Johanna Volker Kramer. On August 7, 1955, she married Oscar Earl McLin in Macomb, Illinois.

Mrs. McLin worked production at the Rock Island Arsenal.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She enjoyed country music, sewing, cooking and canning.

She is survived by her husband; one sister Selma Kerr of Burlington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at Prugh's Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. McLin will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel with Minister Bill Walkup officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
