Andrew Michael Palmer, 4, of Burlington, died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born June 25, 1993, in Burlington, he was the son of Steven Duane Palmer and Robin Lynn Rice Palmer.
He attended Little Nike Pre-school and First United Methodist Church, both of Burlington, and was a member of the YMCA Soccer Team.
Survivors include his parents, both of Burlington; three sisters, Jodi Rettig of Burlington, Teresa Palmer of Morrison, Ill., and Jennifer Palmer of Bloomington, Ill.; one brother, James Palmer of Burlington; grandparents, Kermit and Judy Rice of Burlington, Glen Palmer of Rock Falls, Ill., and Barbara Morris Williams of Fort Madison; three great-grandfathers, John Hester and John Rice, both of Burlington, and Stanley Wamlsey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one grandmother.
Visitation will begin after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The funeral for Andrew Michael Palmer will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. David Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
