Mrs. Flora Petersen, 75, died in St. Francis Continuation care center at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday March 18. She was born here to Gus and Rosa Marie (Heinz) Astfalk. She married Karl Peterson, who died April 1, 1948. Mrs Petersen was a member of First United Church of Christ. Surviving: two brothers, Edwin and Milton Astfalk both of Burlington; three sisters, Marie White of Mabel, MN, Delphine Willeford of Rock Island, IL and Peggy Graham of Burlington. Prayer service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Alvin R. Volle; Memorial Park Cemetery.
