Mediapolis (IA) -- Mrs. Anna M. Scott, 79, a former Mediapolis resident, died at the Pleasant Hill nursing home in Des Moines, Tuesday, March 27.

Mrs. Scott was born May 15, 1894, the daughter of Henry and Anna Poggemiller Wiele, and married William Bane January 2, 1918. Following his 1918 death, she married Roy Scott, June 6, 1923, in Burlington.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian church, Mediapolis.

Surviving: Two daughters, Alice Nelson, Des Moines, and Gladys Baird, Michigan City, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Wootten and Mrs. Lucy Sharar, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Sarah McCoy, Ft. Madison; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, First United Presbyterian church, Mediapolis; Reverend Ralph Schenck; Kossuth cemetery near Mediapolis. The body is at Fry chapel, Mediapolis.
