Irvy J. Dockendorff, 85, of DeWitt, died Sunday, October 30, 1994, at the DeWitt Community Hospital.

Born July 2, 1909, in Danville, he was the son of John R. and Hannah Thielen Dockendorff. He married Viola Moehlman April 24, 1935, in Chicago.

He attended the University of Iowa studying premedical and dental where he was a lifetime member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon (a national social fraternity). For over 40 years, he managed Farm Cooperatives in Danville and DeWitt, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of the DeWitt United Methodist Church, DeWitt Masonic Lodge No. 34 A.F. & A.M., Shrine KAABA Temple 32nd Degree Mason of Davenport, Scottish Rite of Clinton, and Clinton County Farm Bureau and was past president of the Farm Service Pioneer Club.

He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
