Floreine Cover, 77, of Mediapolis, died Sunday, December 27, 1992, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born June 19, 1915, at Morning Sun, she was the daughter of Curtis and Lottie McConahay Hamilton. She married Delane Cover on July 27, 1933, in Burlington.

She had worked for Frank Sharar and Hick Thie in the grocery store at Mediapolis for many years. She was a graduate of Morning Sun High School and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mediapolis, and the Sarah Circle.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Delbert Cover of Mediapolis and Lyle D. Cover of Wapello; a brother, Gene Hamilton of Morning Sun; a sister, Margie Fox of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Mediapolis.

The funeral for Mrs. Cover will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Mediapolis, with the Reverend John Gaulke officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
