Young Business Man Passes Away Saturday Night After Short Illness.

Edward G. Marquardt, aged 27 years, manager of the Ashborne Motorcycle company and manager of the Ashborne Goldfish company, of 311 North Main street, died at his home, 115 North Gunnison street, at 10:30 o'clock last evening. Death was due to pneumonia following influenza.

The deceased was a prominently known young man of the city. He was one of its youngest business men and has met with much success in his vocation. The deceased was a son of Edward G. Marquardt, Sr., a well known groceryman.

He suffered with influenza for a week of more, but remained at his store. Thursday he was attacked with pneumonia and took to his bed. He lived but two days.

He was a member of the Baptist church and the Modern Woodmen of America lodge.

He is survived by his parents, his wife and two small children and three sisters.
