John Hermann Weyl, 85, of rural Burlington, died at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 1990, at
Burlington Medical Center.

Born April 13, 1905, in Rohrberg, Germany, he was the son of Gustav and Minna (Sandau) Weyl. He married Wilma Asmussen Oct. 12, 1934, in Burlington. She died June 29, 1965. He later married Ruth Field, Oct. 26, 1968, in Burlington.

He came to Burlington from Germany when he was 23 years old. He was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. He worked for the Burlington
Northern Bridge and Building Department and was a mason by trade.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Joyce Schulte, Houston, Texas; two sons, John F.
Weyl, Burlington, and Stephen Weyl, Racine, Wis.; one sister, Elsbeth Meyer, Germany; one
brother, Arthur Weyl, Germany; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-granchildren. Aspen Grove Cemetery
