Mrs. Ermina Wilda Lind, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of West Burlington died at 3:30 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2014, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.
Born September 16, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Pygott) Owen. On October 6, 1960, she married Clayton "Bud" Lind in Fort Madison; he died February 24, 1971.
Mrs. Lind worked various clerical positions for the Des Moines County Court House before becoming Deputy Treasurer. She retired after 35 years, in 1987.
She loved to knit and spend time doing ministry work for her church.
Survivors include one brother, Ralph "Billy" Owen of Mt. Pleasant and one nephew, Tom Owen of Buffalo, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The graveside funeral service and interment for Mrs. Lind will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19th in Greenwood Cemetery, West Burlington. Mr. Greg Fields will officiate.
