MRS. CARDEN DIED SUNDAY
Well Known Middletown Woman Victim of Stroke; Funeral Tomorrow

Mrs. E. A. Carden, 63, well known resident of Middletown, died at her home Sunday morning (October 29, 1933) at 3 o'clock as a result of a stroke after four weeks illness.

Netta A. Anderson was born in Washington, Iowa, April 4, 1870, the daughter of William and Mary McMaken, and married May 31, 1903, to E. A. Carden, who survives her. She was a member of the Middletown Presbyterian church and Missionary society. The family has lived in Middletown 12 years moving into town from a farm a mile and a half northwest of there.

Besides her husband Mrs. Carden is survived by a son, Max A. Carden of Middletown and two grandchildren, Floyd and Evelyn Carden.

Funeral services will be held at the Middletown Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the Middletown cemetery.

The body will be taken to the residence from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.
