Cathy Lynn Matlick, 42, of River Bend Nursing Center in Muscatine, formerly of Burlington, died at 4:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at the nursing center.

Born July 19, 1960, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Wesley and Shirley Gulick Matlick.

Miss Matlick was a 1978 graduate of Burlington High School and attended Southeastern Community College and Kirkwood Community College.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid Hawkeyes basketball and football fan. She enjoyed all types of sports and rock music.

Survivors include three sisters, three brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the time of service on Monday.

The funeral for Miss Matlick will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel, with Pastor Robert M. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
