Mary Elizabeth Roederer, 85, of 1110 Chalfant Street, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, February 7, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born August 12, 1907, at Dodgeville, she was the daughter of Theodore and Mary Panther Vorwerk. She married Herbert J. Roederer October 18, 1937, in Dodgeville. He died January 17, 1970.

A graduate of Sperry High School, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society of the church and St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary. Mr. Roederer is survived by a sister, Loyola Wilkerson of rural New London.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister and an infant sister.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Tuesday with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. followed by the family receiving friends until 8:30 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. Roederer will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Reverend Michael Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the St. Francis Continuation Care Center.
