Mildred K. Sturms, 85, of 1900 6th Ave., Rock Island, died Wednesday, March 1,
1995, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.

Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel, Burlington, Iowa. Burial is in
Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.

The former Mildred Gallagher was born Jan. 27, 1910, in Burlington, the son of Charles and Carrie Gilbert Gallagher. She married Dewain Arthur Sturms July 26, 1930, in Burlington.

She was employed at IAAP and at the Sperry Hutchinson S&H Green Stamp Store.

She was affiliated with the Baptist church.

Survivors include daughters Shirley Sturms, Burlington, and Donna McKean, Conesville, Iowa; sons Dewain Arthur Sturms Jr., Appleton, Wis., Larry Sturms, Menasha, Wis., Donald Sturms, Rock Island, and Robert Sturms, Burlington; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eugene Gallagher,
Burlington.
