Arthur E. Vorwerk, 65, of 1403 Mt. Pleasant, died at 12:16 a.m. Monday, February 27, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born January 26,1913, at Dodgeville, the son of Theodore and Mary Panther Vorwerk. He married Dora Doran February 5, 1940, at Dodgeville.

He was a retired milk salesman for White House and Sunshine dairies, a member of St. Patrick Catholic church, United Commercial Travelers and Teamsters local 218.

Surviving: The wife; four sons, David, Rushville, Illinois, Michael, and Larry and Chris, all of Burlington; two brothers, Leonard, Portland, Oregon, and Anthony, Burlington; three sisters, Mary Roederer and Mrs. Celestine Green, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Loyola Wilkerson, New London; two grandchildren and one step-grandson.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Patrick church, Fr. Vitolds Valainis; Sacred Heart cemetery. Rosary, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's chapel.
