Herman H. Weicher, 75, Burlington Care Center, died in Burlington Medical Center at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, August 16.

He was born March 28, 1904, at Burlington, the son of John and Rosena Messmer Weicher. He married Kathryn M. Murphy November 15, 1933, in Burlington. She died October 20, 1973. He was employed by Bock's Greenhouse for 50 years.

He was a member of St. Mary church, West Burlington. Surviving: Son John, Burlington; three daughters, Margaret Mynatt, Laredo, Texas, and Patricia Gerhardt and Rose Mary Johnson, both of Burlington; brother, Alfred Weicher, Burlington; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Mary church, Fr. Louis J. Mulligan; Aspen Grove cemetery. Rosary: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Prugh's Chapel. A memorial for St. Mary church has been established.
