Mrs. Catherine Tadlock, 2123 S. 13th street, died at St. Francis hospital at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday after an extended illness. She was born in Biggsville township, Ill., July 3, 1869, daughter of John and Elizabeth Boyd. On Sept. 4, 1890, she was united in marriage to Frank Tadlock in Henderson County. Her husband is dead. She was a resident of Burlington for the past 37 years and a member of Williamson Memorial U.P. church, and a member of the Silver Star circle.
Surviving are two sons, Virgil Tadlock of Burlington and Vernon Tadlock of Peoria, Ill; 3 sisters, Ella and Elizabeth Boyd of Biggsville, Ill., and Mrs Mary Thomas of Burlington; one brother, John Boyd of Biggsville, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held in Prugh's chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Biggsville cemetery.
