OBITUARY---SNYDER

Mrs. Nellie Snyder, wife of W.J. Snyder, died at her home on 15th street, after a protracted illness.
Nellie Burnes was born in Monroeville, Ohio, July 1, 1852. She came to Iowa in 1872 and was married to W.J. Snyder August 31, 1876. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, one sister, Mrs. James Martin and her only daughter Mrs. J.S. Kripka (*Kupka).
Mrs. Snyder was a teacher in Ohio, and was one of the pioneer teachers of Des Moines county. She was a woman of unusually gentle and loveable character. Her friendliness and sunny disposition endeared her to all who knew her.
The funeral will be held at the family residence, 2001 South Fifteenth street. Friends are invited to attend.
