Ida May (Ferrington) Edwards

Born in Lee County on July 15, 1904 to Chester and Margaret (Marsh) Ferrington. She died on April 2, 1957 at St. Francis hospital. She married Homer Edwards in Gladstone, IL., on April 17, 1934. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Surviving: Her husband; a son Donald Edwards of Burlington; four daughters, Mrs. Richard Mason, Mrs. Mrs. Charles Akey and Sharon K. Edwards, all of Burlington; and Mrs. Larry Canfield of Texas; three sisters; Mrs. Harry Springst?? of Mediapolis, Mrs. Clarence R????? and Mrs. Ella Wit???, of Rockford, Ill., a brother, Ray Ferrington of Burlington. Her parents, a sister and a brother are dead. Prugh's Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. (Apologies on all the ??'s, obituary was not legible).
