Son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edwards. On April 17, 1934 he was married to Ida Ferrington, who died April 2, 1957. July 10, 1959 he married Helen L. Giese in Burlington. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Burlington Gymnastic Society and the Machinists Union. Surviving: The wife; son Donald Edwards of Ft. Madison; daughters Mrs. Betty Mason of Ft. Madison; Mrs. Sharon Raushenberger of Morning Sun; and Mrs. Marjorie Davis and Mrs. Shirley Canfield, both of Burlington. Brothers; Ralph of Council Bluff and Les of Torrance, CA., and sisters, Mrs. Faye Ranck of McMinnville, Ore., Mrs. Tresa Semmons of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Ruby Bacon of Clarion.
