Danville-Dick Schnupper, 75, died at his home here Tuesday at 12:45 a.m. after suffering a heart attack.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Schnupper Sr., he was born in Oldenburg, Germany, Aug. 2, 1869 and came to the states with his parents in 1872. They came first to Burlington. He married Amelia Holman at Pleasant Grove. Sept. 23, 1896. After thier marriage they moved to a farm at Prairie Grove where they resided until 1926 when they came to Danville.

He was a member of the Congregational church at Danville.

Besides his wife he leaves the following children: Mrs. Theresa Beckman and Mrs. Iva Jones, both of Danville; Mrs. Elsie Thomes, Burlington; Holman Schnupper, West Burlington; Sgt. Glen Schnupper of the Army Air Corps in the Philippines; and Elmer, S1-C in the South Pacific area; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Lena Heinen, 1236 Virginia Ave., Burlington; and one brother, Herman, of Danville. Two brothers and two sisters are dead.

The body is at the Elliott chapel in New London where it will remain until time for the services at the Danville Congregational church Thursday at 3 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour before the funeral. Rev. Floyd Shepherd will be in charge and burial will be in the Prairie Grove cemetery.
