Ethel Beryl Brown, age 91, formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Mediapolis. The daughter of Charles and Eva (Bailey) Walker, she was born April 16, 1921. On December 25, 1940 she married Lester Brown at Mediapolis. She worked at Winegard in Burlington before her retirement. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Burlington.

Survivors include: three daughters, Jan Banks of Nebo, NC; Brenda Beluzzi of San Antonio, Texas; Beth Leavel of Port Richey, Fla; one son, Kenny Brown of Inman, SC; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters.

The funeral service will Saturday March 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, with Rev. Trevor Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery, rural Morning Sun.

Friends may call on Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, where the family will meet with friends from 6-8:00 p.m. A memorial has been established for Grace United Methodist Church.
