Lucinda "Cindy" Lea Fahlgren Rosenberger, 47, of Platte City, Mo., died at 6:01 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at St. Luke's Northland Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Born Sept. 20, 1955, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Richard Fahlgren and Patricia "Pat" Ann Crooks Brown. She married Steven Rosenberger of Platte City in Kansas City.
Mrs. Rosenberger was a 1974 graduate of Notre Dame High School and received her cosmetology degree from Kansas City. She worked at Realm Construction.
She was of the Catholic faith and loved animals, crafts and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Steven of Platte City; father, Richard Fahlgren of Fort Madison; stepfather and mother, William "Bill" and Patricia "Pat" Ann Crooks Brown of Kansas City; one son and his fiancˇ, Damian Butts and Sarah Pagel of Kansas City; two stepsons, Dane Rosenberger of Platte City and Jesse Rosenberger of Fall City, Neb.; two brothers, Michael (Cindy) Fahlgren of Overland Park, Kan. and Travis Fahlgren of Robinson Air Force Base, Georgia; one sister, Suzy Tellinghuisen of Oakdale, Minn.; two stepbrothers, Jim (Maki) Brown of Yokohama, Japan, and Dave Brown of St. Paul, Minn.; two stepsisters, Melissa Edwards of Illinois and Donna Whitaker of Fort Madison; two nephews, Jaime Fahlgren and Josh Fahlgren of Overland Park; a special niece, Danielle Fahlgren of Overland Park; her mother-in-law, Donna Rosenberger of Hiawatha, Kan.; her ever-patient dog, Callie; aunt; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Scott Fahlgren; grandparents, Fred and Thelma Crooks; grandfather, Glenn Fahlgren; grandmother, Alwilda Pierce; and uncle, Marvin Crooks.
Friends may call after noon today in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Dennis Tevis will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Humane Society of Des Moines County.
