Patricia Ann Brockway, 85, of Burlington, died at Burlington Care Center, Burlington, Iowa, on Tuesday morning, January 29, 2013.

Born on February 4, 1927 in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Raymond P. and Anna Lang Welch. She married Elwood Harrison Brockway on June 28, 1946 at St. Patrick Church, Burlington, Iowa. He died on September 15, 2009.

Patricia was a homemaker. She enjoyed yard work, shopping with her sister, Margaret, going to the city pool in Crapo Park and playing bingo. She was a member of SS. Patrick & Mary Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Sue) Brockway and Tom Brockway, both of Burlington, Iowa; four grandchildren, Kara, Jennifer, Morgan and Tyler; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Alexis and Julia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Joe, Buck and “Speck”; three sisters, Margaret, Dorie and Frances.
