Friday, April 20, 1973Death Takes Sadie BRIDGES
Sadie A. BRIDGES, 94, one of Fairfield's oldest residents, died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital.
She had been in failing health the past several years. Her home was at 502 North B.
Last rites will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Stumbo officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery east of Mediapolis.
Sadie A. BRIDGES was born March 2, 1879, at Mediapolis, the daughter of John and Marcy VINCENT BRIDGES. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include four nieces and one nephew.
