John Frederick Myers died at his home in Benton township, at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home, with services at the Kingston M. E. church at 2 o'clock and interment in the German M. E. cemetery. Friends are invited to these services.
John Frederick Myers was born in this county in what now Is Tama township, June 9, 1864, and had long been a sucessful farmer. He was a good citizen and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He is survived by the widow and the following children: Roy L. who is a soldier at Camp Humphrey, Va., and is at home on furlough; John F., Robert B. and Elmer E. Myers, at home and Miss Elizaeterh Meyers, at home.
