George Sherrin

George Sherrin, 66, of 1128 Valley, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Burlington Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 6, 1912, in Ft. Madison, the son of Frederick and Abby Hutchinson Sherrin. He married Irene Ford July 4, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant.

He was retired employee of the Burlington school system.

Surviving: The wife, son, Michael, Bucks county, Pa.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Prugh's chapel, Rev. Bruce Pullen; Memorial Park cemetery.
